Will & Grace
La sitcom ruota attorno alle divertenti vicende di Will, un avvocato gay di New York, maniaco dell’ordine e preciso, e la sua migliore amica Grace, un’arredatrice eterosessuale confusionaria e disordinata, con una complicata vita sentimentale. A loro si affiancano Jack, apertamente gay, edonista e sempre a caccia di un lavoro, e Karen, donna ricca quanto bizzarra, pansessuale e allegramente alcool-dipendente. Con un umorismo scorretto e genialmente acido, la serie ha contribuito a sdoganare l’umorismo gay nella televisione generalista, collezionando inoltre un prestigioso elenco di guest star, tra cui Madonna, Cher, Sharon Stone. Cominciata nel 1998 (ma in Italia è arrivata nel 2001), ha chiuso i battenti nel 2006 dopo otto stagioni.

Incitata a a incontrare «persone vere», Karen sente un feeling immediato verso una donna manager (Madonna) che condivide molte delle sue eccentricità. Nel frattempo Will, stortosi una caviglia dopo una caduta, esagera decisamente con gli antidolorifici: la sua personalità cambia repentinamente, e ciò porta i preoccupati Grace e Jack a intervenire… .
Will & Grace
The sitcom is all about the funny situations involving Will, a gay lawyer who is a neat freak, and his best friend Grace, a heterosexual interior designer who is messy and chaotic and has a complicated sentimental life. They are joined by Jack, who is openly gay, a hedonist and always in search of a job, and Karen, a rich, bizarre woman, who is pansexual and merrily alcohol-dependent. With off-beat and genially acid humor, the series helped bring gay humor to mainstream TV and featured a prestigious list of guest stars including Madonna and Cher. The series began in 1998 (but was first seen in Italy in 2001) and closed in 2006, after eight seasons.
ep. Dolls and Dolls
Pushed by a sudden need to meet “real people,” Karen feels an immediate bond towards a woman manager (Madonna) who shares much of Karen’s weirdness. In the meantime, Will falls, hurts his ankle and grows dependent to pain-killers; the heavy usage affects his personality changing it fast, bringing worried grace and Jack to intervene.
